I’m Joanna!

I am a DRC-bred, NC-fed girly and if I had a life superlative it would be: most likely to bring the fun. Ever since I can remember, one of my favorite parts of the year was that back-to-school time when I’d get the 64-box crayons, twistable colored pencils, yearly planners, Pilot G-2 pens, and color-organized notebooks. Stationery has always been
my jam! 

Safari Calligraphy began as a fun thing to do between exam time (Go Heels!) and quickly grew into something that brought me lots of joy. It is all about taking a journey beyond your comfort zone and exploring
your dreams.

When I am not designing, you can find me rewatching The Office (I know), enjoying quality time with the people I love, or finding yet another taco spot. Getting to be a small part of your big day is one of my
biggest pleasures.
